Staff (Research Assistant)
As a research assistant to Jessica Lynch Alfaro, Gohar focuses on the phylogenetics and biogeography of neotropical primates, particularly the genera Capuchin and Saimiri. Her lab work includes extraction, amplification, and sequencing of dloop and cytb genes of both museum and living samples from these species.
Gohar graduated from UCLA with a B.S. in Psychobiology with a minor in Music History.
